BabyTravel UK operates a social media scheduling platform at postiz.babytraveluk.co.uk. This section explains how we collect and handle your data when you use that platform.
What the platform does
The platform allows you to connect your social media accounts (including TikTok) via OAuth, schedule and publish content to those accounts, and view profile information and analytics from your connected accounts — all from a single dashboard.
Data we collect when you use the platform
When you connect a social media account, we collect the following information from that account via the platform's official API:
- Basic profile information: your display name, avatar, and profile URL
- Account statistics: follower count, video views, and engagement metrics
- Scheduled content: videos, captions, and metadata you create and schedule through our platform
How we use this data
- To display your profile information within the platform dashboard
- To publish content to your connected accounts on your behalf, at the times you schedule
- To show you analytics and performance metrics for your published content
We do not use data collected through third-party APIs for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond delivering the scheduling service to you.
Third-party access and security
We use TikTok's official API and comply with TikTok's Developer Terms of Service. Your TikTok credentials are handled entirely through TikTok's OAuth system — we never see, request, or store your TikTok password. The access token we receive is stored securely and used only to fulfil publishing and analytics requests on your behalf.
You can revoke our access to your TikTok account at any time by going to your TikTok app settings and removing BabyTravel UK from your connected applications (Settings & Privacy → Security → Manage App Authorisations). Revoking access will stop any future publishing but will not affect content already posted.
Data retention
We retain your platform data for as long as your account remains active. If you wish to have your data deleted, please contact us at babytraveluk.co.uk/contact or email hello@babytraveluk.co.uk and we will action your request promptly.
